Faisal Abdullah Al-Hamoudi, Director of Takamul Program at the Department of Economic Development, is responsible of designing and executing the initiatives of innovation which are run by the DED including Takamul projects.
He worked for Roads and Transport Authority – Dubai from 2006 till 2008 as a senior projects engineer when he supervised the execution of a number of infrastructure projects with a value of AED 3 billion. He also worked for Emaar Properties as a Project Manager for Khalifa Tower from 2008 till 2010, and he oversaw all the infrastructure projects for Khalifa Tower such as Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard in addition to all Infrastructure works for water and electricity amongst others as well as multistorey parking lot and the lake a fountain of Khalifa Tower the largest artificial lake made by man.
Al-Hamoudi joined the DED in August 2016.
He used to occupy the position of Senior Director of Innovation and Founder and Director Takamul Program at Abu Dhabi Committee for Technology Development where he spent six years in developing innovation and creativity initiatives for Abu Dhabi across a number of sectors including oil and gas, energy, advanced materials and space. He has a long experience in the field of innovation and developing the innovation strategy for companies including ADNOC. Currently he manages a number of projects at the DED.
